It glides on, light but substantial. Covers and evens out my skin without looking "made up". Feels moisturizing even though it's oil free, and I usually just dot foundation stick on any pesky scars or sunspots. Usually though I can get away with just the moisturizer. I keep coming back to this, even with all the other countless choices. This is easily in my top 5 fave products I use every day. Love it.     "I normally use Bare Escentuals in light, but it got way too dry for the winter and I couldn't find a base that was hydrating and didn't make my foundation look like a mask. This tinted moisturizer in nude is incredible. It provides more coverage than BE and looks seamless. It's far more natural looking than BE and makes my skin look dewy and healthy. Oh and on top of that, it lasts all day and doesn't require reapplication. I've tried layering it, with great success - it doesn't cake up. I love that I no longer have to juggle my moisturizer, foundation, loose powder, and THREE brushes. BE was getting to be such a mess too - powder everywhere!     "My skin is very oily in the t-zone but can get very dry also, as I live in an arid climate. This is my go-to foundation for every day use as it hydrates without making my skin overly oily. For those of you who have used the regular Laura Mercier TM formula (not oil free) you should be aware that this one is still fairly hydrating but much thicker and more pigmented -- more like a light coverage foundation. But, unlike most foundations, this doesn't settle into my (large) pores or separate or turn orangey on oily parts. I wouldn't say it is particularly long-lasting but I would rather have it fade gradually than have it turn horrible-looking! I have fair olive skin and the Nude is a pretty good match, although just slightly too peach so I need to make sure I don't use too much.
